چکیده
Lipase is a glycerol ester hydrolase that hydrolyzes esters of triglycerides. This study aimed to isolate, screen and characterize lipolytic fungi with lipA gene from soil environments. Fungi [molds yeasts] were isolated contaminated samples randomly collected Palm oil mills, Abattoirs Automobile servicing workshops in Eleme Obio Akpor local governments Rivers State, Nigeria using standard microbiological techniques. Qualitative screening assay was carried out on the fungal isolates through gel diffusion Tributryin, Tween 80 Olive respectively. Isolates maximum zones clearance selected screened for hydrolysis triacylglyceride [lipA gene] amplification identified by Internal Transcribed Spacer characterization.
 A total 96 obtained, showed 57 strains which 21 palm 17 abattoirs 19 automobile Seven their genomic DNA as Candida orthopsilosis PMS3 [Accession No: OL546803], Fusarium proliferatum PMS4 OL546804], Saccharomyces cerevisiae PMS8 OL546805], Penicillium paxilli ABS8 OL546799], Pichia kudriavzevii ENS1 OL546800] Aspergillus niger ENS3 OL546801] Trichoderma viride ENS5 OL546802].

Molecular identification of basidiomycetous yeasts from soils in Iran
In the present study basidiomycetous yeast species were characterised from soil samples in different regions of Iran. Soil samples were collected from 5–15 cm depth, subsequently yeasts were isolated and purified. Yeast isolates were identified using D1/D2 domains of 26S rRNA and physiologic tests. The results of this study revealed a rich diversity amongst basidiomycetous yeast species in the ...
متن کاملIsolation, Optimization, and Molecular Characterization of a Lipase Producing Bacterium from Oil Contaminated Soils
Lipases have many applications in biotechnology, thanks to their ability of acylglycerides hydrolysis. They alsp possess the unique feature of acting at the lipid-water interface, which distinguishes them from esterases. Commercially useful lipases are produced by microorganisms with the extracellular lipase being produced by many bacteria including Pseudomonas. The greatest production of lipas...

متن کاملIsolation and Screening of Xylanase Producing Fungi from Forest Soils
Enzymes are distinct natural biological polymers which can catalyze the chemical/ biological reactions and convert substrates to specific product (Haq et al. 2006). Xylanase [E.C.3.2.1.8] are a class of hydrolytic enzymes which can hydrolyze the straight polysaccharide -1, 4-xylan in hemicelluloses which is a noteworthy component of secondary cell wall of plants (Dhiman et al. 2008). Xylan, the...
متن کاملScreening and Identification of Potential Biosurfactant Producing Microorganisms Isolated from Oil Contaminated Soils
Biosurfactant are surface active compounds produced by microorganisms. These molecules reduce surface tension between aqueous solutions and hydrocarbon mixtures. Hundred hydrocarbon saturated soil samples were collected from thirty different areas in Chennai, TamilNadu, India. Seventy two bacterial strains were isolated and cultured by enriching carbon (Glycerol) source. Each culture medium was...
